From ancient times humans have recognized that our lives are interconnected with the life of all creation from the animals to the trees to the mountains to the seas. Even our biblical story of the Garden of Eden pictures the ideal world as one where all things are interdependent and the role of humans is to tend and nurture one another and all life. How can we reclaim this holy, ancient calling to care for the Earth and all life?
