God knows our deepest longings and is always listening to the prayers of our hearts. With Hannah and Mary, let us give thanks to our God of Mercy and Justice.

Too often, we don’t know what we’re doing when we turn from God to cause harm and destruction. God, however, exposes our injustices, offers us forgiveness, and restores us to faithful stewards of God’s good earth.

Through the presence of the Spirit, God transforms meals into a powerful place of community building, healing space, and justice work. Let us too set the table for all to experience God’s transformational and liberating power in Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.

Joseph’s story in Genesis is one of transformation from arrogance to forgiveness through a life of rejection, danger, promotion, purpose, and reconciliation all guided by the God of dreams and hope. Throughout our journeys of life, we too hold onto hope and find our purpose of how to participate in God’s dream for the world.

Grounded in God’s promises of love, faithfulness, and life, we move with confidence into the future.

From the beginning, we were created to live in cooperation with one another. Today, we celebrate that cooperation by worshiping with our partners from the Red Sweater Project in Tanzania, hearing about their work with students in Mungere, and strengthening our partnership.
